2.1.2 The general construction shall be such that a11 parts are we11 fitted and will not show signs of becoming warped, bent, broken or otherwise damaged dur ing the initial test installation or during any of the tests specified and sha11 be in accordance with reasonable concepts of safety, substantiality and durability.
2.1.2.1 Burners intended to be installed with special Combustion chambers or hearths sha1l be designed and arranged to
facilitate their proper installation.Where necessary,Such burners shall be provided with suitable provision to properly support the combustion chamber or hearth.
2.1.3 Every part shall be secure against displacement and must be constructed to maintain a fixed relationship between essential parts under normal and reasonable conditions of handling and usage so as to assure continued compliance with these requir ements.
2.1.3.1 Each burner assembly sha1l be arranged for convenient operation.Sufficient and reasonable access ibility shall be afforded to al1 burners, parts, controls, and safety devices requiring normal servicing by the operator.
The arrangement of removable parts in the assembly shall be such that their restoration, following removal for normal servicing, wi1l not necessitate re-alignment to secure their proper relationship with other parts of the assembly. Special facilities that are required for normal servicing sha1l accompany the burner.
2.1.5 Where tap bolts are used to attach air shutters,manifold supports or other parts which must be removed for normal servicing or replacement, they sha11 be of rust-resisting materialor if of steel, sha11 have a rust-resisting coating.
2.1.6 Bolts, nuts, screws, except sheet metal screws, and other threaded parts used in the general assemb 1y shal1 have threads conforming to the current Standard for Square and Hexagon Bo1ts and Nuts, Studs and Wrench Openings, CSA B33.1.
2.1.7 All controls and burners shall be accessible for normal servicing and functional ad justment in position, and shall be replaceable during normal servicing. Manifold.assemblies which pernit removal of control (s) intact sha1l be considered to meet this requirement for servic ing.Removal of an access pane1 or door to provide access to a control compar tment sha1l be considered acceptable.
2.1.7.1 Nothing shall be provided for the purpose of permit ting any safety control to be rendered ineffective or allowing firing of burners without the protection of each of the required safety controls.
